Welome to Campsite 18

Purchaseables to rattle your creative brain

What is Campsite 18? Campsite 18 is a backcountry campsite in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. During high school and college I had various adventures at this site ranging from bear encounters to an evangelist on horseback to forgetting a flashlight on a dark and stormy solo trip.

It’s a place where I learned, through trial and error, how to pack lightly, build a fire, cook a camp meal, catch a trout. I laughed with friends, called in screech owls, and scoured burnt pans with the sand of the Middle Prong River.

Like Campsite 18, may the products offered here create tangible memories for those who choose to adventure with us.

Made with dry, calloused, and progressively arthritic hands in the North Georgia mountains. This obsession began with carving simple Amazon-ordered basswood blocks. It then turned into carving backyard sticks. Soon, this hobby morphed into the beautiful steel and local wood incorporated knives. All products are one-of-a-kind. Feel free to ask me anything.
